Our experienced sales engineering staff can help you design complete Turn-Key processing lines to meet your requirements.  We supply all the equipment you need – from receiving the raw material to the weighed and packaged end-product, including refrigeration if requested..  We also provide complete installation services through training and start-up.

Salmon Processing

Whether you are processing fresh, frozen or canned salmon, we have the knowledge to design your plant and equipment.  Our engineering staff has the experience to design complete salmon canning facilities as well as all forms of fresh and frozen salmon products.  In addition, we can supply you with ikura (roe) and sujiko, processing equipment.

Crab Processing

The Sound Ocean Metal Fabricators, Ltd. personnel helped pioneer the Alaskan crab processing industry as we know it today.  This includes the supply of turn-key lines that are durable enough to be used 24 hours a day, on-shore, mothership or catcher processor.

Surimi Processing

The Sound Ocean Metal Fabricators, Ltd. personnel also helped Americanize the surimi industry having designed and built the first surimi lines in Alaska, on-board factory trawlers and in-shore plants.  Working with the customer, we were able to increase recovery over traditional Japanese systems.
