SOMF crews returned home Oct. 3, 2010, after successfully installing major equipment SOMF built for Ryco and a new seafood processing plant in located on the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia.
In March and April 2010, SOMF – in alliance with RYCO – built a large RSW bin system, 13 large conveyors (some up to 26′ high) and 600′ of KVP chain conveyors. RYCO designed the facility incorporating RYCO salmon headers, gutters, picket conveyor and roller weigh belt sorters, all starting at dock receiving RYCO fish wet pumps.
The last of the equipment was loaded in mid-April onto one of 17 flatbed semi-trucks and shipped to Russia where the RYCO/SOMF crew is currently overseeing the assembly and installation.
